Command_Overrides table

I was just wondering if anyone has a working guide for the command_overrides table.

I just cannot get it to work. It seems the ascent one never works, using both never works, but logon halfway works for me.

What I'm going for is:

T- Telelports, tickets, bans, announces
M - Modify
C- Cheat
S - honor, guild, etc
N - Waypoints, npc commands, formationlinks
L- learns
O - gameobjects
D - debug
K - kill and killplr
A - shutdowns, restarts, rehashes
AZ - playall, castall, dispelall, account level

Can this be done? I've tried many different ways and read up on it a lot.

Okej, first you need to find some unused letters. Don't know if caps help but I would recomend numbers (4-9) And maybe stuff like this h,g,l,t,i. What I glive those works.

First of all, you taking up your command_overrides table, look at it, there is 2x colums. One is for the command one the other one is for the acces level to it (daah?)

I will help you just now only with the one that is called Cheat, we can give it the acces level 4.

So now you will put like this for example

.cheat fly - 4
.cheat land - 4
.cheat god - 4
.cheat power - 4

And so on with all cheat commands.

But, this won't work now! As power, god, fly, land are all sub commands. You will need to add the main command for this, and that is .cheat. So now add this to the overrides

.cheat - 4

Now, those commands that you wrote before works.


You will always have to work like this when you are dealing with subcommands, if it's a easy command like appear, that you wanted in Teleports... you just do like this (we call it acces level 5)

.appear - 5
.summon -5
.addipban -5
.recall - 5
.recall port - 5
.recall add - 5
.recall list - 5
.recall remove - 5


Got the point on how I mean? And then you need ofc add the acces level to the account... But this table works for sure

Don't forget that 'az' means both 'a' and 'z' access levels.
Also, 'z' is the rank for admins

Odd cause I played a server with exactly the letters I used (and it was ascent.)
I suppose it's possible they got into C++ and all that fun stuff.

Also, will access level 5 automatically have what access level 4 does? Or will I need the account flags to be 45?

Is it a must to use flags that are already ununsed? I don't see why (from my understanding of the table) that would be necessary.

Also, which do I use? Logon or Ascent command_overrides?

Hmm.
If wowapprentice.com/18 isn't incorrect, you are using used letters from what you said up there.
h,g,l,t,i

hkxyz are the only letters I can find that are not used.

D: Would this mean that used letters CAN, in fact be used, or those letters randomly work when others don't?
