The Ascent/OpenAscent/ArcEmu seems really screwed up right now and switching cores is REALLY getting annoying.
Is Mangos more , less or just as stable as one openascent or arc emu? Should we stop the headaches and just move on to Mangos?

No, I mean, if you can change your Url of repository when you checkout, then its not an issue
I personally use WCell, and if not that I use the old Ascent. But no, don't go to MaNGOS. Kobolt (Closed-Source) is the next best behind the Ascent franchise.
bleh our server is still continuing development on Ascent where burlex stopped... in meanwhile the team is even further then openascent or arcemu
But well if you can't do that.... NEVER pic mangos. Kobold is 10x better then Mangos
And Ascent is not doing that bad... it only needs some time to regroup or whatever you want to call it![]()
I try make the MaNGOS files but my c++ app keep failingmaybe windows vista got something to do with it.
And where do I find this Kobold....???
Unfortunatly Mike, latruwski is correct. MaNGOS used to be my favorite emulator, until I discovered there where other solutions (emus).
ManGos is pretty good for small servers and Ascent(openascent/arcemu whatever) is better for bigger servers.
Mangos is no Emu.
Mangos is an emulator yes -.- If it's not an emu, what is it then? A house?
Mangos? Switch to Mangos?
HAH, you made a funneH!
no it's not a house... read what a emulator is.Mangos is an emulator yes -.- If it's not an emu, what is it then? A house?
A program used to imitate another device. The most famous types are console/handheld emulators.
Emulators are often used to play games that are no longer in product, but nowadays, they are also emulating brand new systems. Examples are XBox, PS2, and GameCube emulators. While none works yet, all are beginning to play commercial games well while some other commercial games are played well already. However, the Gameboy Advance emulator came out BEFORE the actual handheld did and it emulated it excellently.
I would call mangos an emulator then. Mangos is a "program" that acting like a game, imitate another "device"
Hm were can one get Kobolt?
