    [Question] Lua to add a pet to hunter.

    is it possible to make a lua that when you talk to the NPC you choose a pet you want and he will give it to you, by pet i mean the hunter pets you usally have to tame. like in the arena tournament

    I doubt it just have it done in C++ it is the best way.

    you can just use the .pet command

    Well you could mix sectorsevens gossip menu command with the spawn creature but the creature would still need to be tamed but that is your best bet.

    .pet commands is a GM command that gives you whatever pet you like, for exaomple Illidan... so .pet command isn't anything to recomend

    You could do it with C++, easily. Simply splicef some of the ascent tame pet code into a C++ DLL.
    However, if you wanted to do it with LUA, you could make a custom LUA engine and then use it that way..

    Actually, I will talk to the people at BLUA about this... I just got a good idea...

    uhhh you just have to fix up some of it, but the basic format is right there... obviously your not gonna copy the exact code from the command, but thats still how you could do it.

    Until someone exposes pet creation to Lua, you're gonna have to do it via C++
