No Cache created

I only play on private servers so I thought it best my question goes here. If I was wrong, please move it to the appropriate place.

I have been messing around on my own server for a while now creating items and such (no problems there), recently now my WoW doesn't create a Cache folder and my items never update when I update them. I have tried setting my realmlist back to blizzard's and connecting, but no luck.

Running:
Windows Vista Home Premium
AC-Web 7.7

Any other information I can provide don't hesitate to PM me.

*EDIT* This only started recently (within the last week). And I cannot figure it out.

*EDIT2* Haha... all fixed. Disabled UAC and it created one the next time I ran WoW. :-) Thanks for your help!
