Really, you'll be just like every other admin. Except that you're running the server.

Hello everyone. As the title says the private server Embers of Doom is requesting a new host after almost 6 months of downtime.

We are looking for someone with some retail game knowledge, a fast computer / Internet, knowledge of how to setup a private server (i'll be there to assist), and the will to have fun!

We require english (you do not need to speak fluent, as long as we - and the players - can understand you)
We also require that you are able to host the server 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We cannot pay you in cash (unless we open a donation thingy later, where you'll of course get your share, for the hard work), but you'll - of course - be among the admins of the server (along with me, and maybe Alex - a member of Embers of Doom Management team).

In return i'll of course also do whatever else requested..
Maintain your forum, website, create SQL items for you when needed,
help with problems, help as GM on your server, help as normal player on your server, help as Ticket GM on your server.

Whatever you request. In return, all i ask is that you host my server on a computer 24/7.
I can't pay in cash, but i can pay help

I've tried, but i get a problem when opening ports. I've set up a static IP and yet, when openin ports on my Linksys they don't show up as open.

Ask your ISP for your StaticIP.
