Well there wasnt too much interest in my MaNGoS repack, so I'm not going to be updating them, but people liked my OpenAscent repack, and there was a few errors etc

So here is my v2, it has updated revisions, fixes all those bugs, and includes a website...

There is an easy to follow set up guide in the readme.txt, after you've followed it, just run "Start Server.bat" Everything including MySQL will start.

You do not need to run your own MySQL, or import any SQL files, this repack has its own MySQL server included which has everything pre-imported, all you need to do is just run the "Start server.bat" file.

The file is roughly 22mb, and can be Unrared anywhere (doesnt need to be in C:\)

How WOuld i run this with the database off your other repack?

Well I reccomend just completly updating the database in this folder by over-writing your mysql folder with this, but if you had custom items etc in it you dont want to lose, just do this

In this example I am going to say your old folder is called OldRepack and your new one is called NewRepack,

1, Unrar the new repack into NewRepack
2, Copy the whole mysql folder from OldRepack into NewRepack, and select yes if it asks you to overwrite

Nope, this is actually the exact same revision of ABD, so there is no difference

BTW in your other repack i had to fix 5 flags for npc's. I can't remeber there names. so I was wondering if you could try and change the flags so they all work?

Would be sweet, but the MPQ-Extractor is ****ed. I run it and get "Fatal, could not locate SFMPQ.dll"

Odd, what error are you getting? The SQL problem should be fixed, try ending the mysqld-nt.exe process and then starting SQL manually, in \mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe then go into Server and run the logonserver and world executables, and see if this fixes anything...

Rootio, I'm looking for a solution for this right now, bare with me...

EDIT: Woops, seems I missed a file when I was putting it all together, I'm uploading a new version of the repack with it in, but for now I'm uploading the missing file singly..
