Do you think the WotLK leak was a publicity stunt by Blizzard and was planned so that people would get more excited about WotLK and grab people away from new recent games (AoC)?

what leak? :/ we have videos pics and a site with informations about wotlk, so wtf else is there to leak?
Zomg hacks.
I think that is possible, but in my opinion, this is not in their interest.
Nemesis.. WotLK client.
And WotLK Sandbox servers.
But that was only possible because of the client.
Look at your post, now back to mine; Now back to your post, now back to mine. Sadly, it isn't mine, but if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate content, it could look like mine. Look down, backup, where are you? You're scrolling through threads, reading the post your post could look like. What did you post? Back at mine; It's a reply saying something you want to hear. Look again and the reply is now diamonds.
Anything is possible when you think before you post. The moon is shrinking.
hmm, thought thered be more maybe's... we dont realy know and blizz did put it in ToS. so.. i unno
/maybe
Ofc it was a stunt... Right before AoC start
Everyone's always got a conspiracy theory.
Think about it for a second. The F&F beta had no effect on 95% of blizz's customers. The only people who will play with it are the legit folks in the beta, and those of us that play with emulation. The majority of people that quit/left for AoC are going to AoC no matter what, and have never heard of a F&F beta, or a WoTLK sandbox, or mangos...
On top of that, Blizz banned 350,000 Glider accounts the same day AoC came out. If they were so scared of AoC, would this really be a good logic to follow? Send them 350,000 customers on day 1?
Last but not least, am I the only one that remembers running around in a TBC sandbox while the TBC F&F beta was going on?
I'm sorry to say, but there's no conspiracy here. They want their expansion out in 2008, and to do so, means it needs to be tested. Timing is coincidental at best.
My opinions, of coarse.

It definetly was a stunt. 2 days from Aoc? Come on now it is a stunt. Look at the alpha for TBC. We didnt get that until beta was released. And the client was for F&F was alvailible by a simple link. Ya it was on purpose. Just a small opinion of mine.
EDIT: when we see a hard date on warhammer, i guarentee that Blizz will release a date for WotLK
The closed beta for The Wrath of The Lich King is coming soon, Of course its a stunt to get people still hooked to playing. If you keep on playing then they have a chance of getting the key and see it. Aswell, the WotLK's leak is to get peoples attention to the game.
Who cares? If blizzard did this as a stunt for m ore people then let it be but i really dont care. Blizzard is a okay company but this is a load of crap. If they want to steal people from AoC even though AoC is a crappy game i nthe first place be my guest.
