Stuck on a loading screen on second visit

Running the WotLK client is going fine, happily exploring but when I exit the game for whatever reason then try to log back on later, the client loads but when I enter the game with a character, the loading bar fills to 60% then the game just hangs.

Always the second time, after that it just keeps hanging, but it works fine the first time. The only way to get around this so far is t delete the lot and build a brand new database.
Anyone know what's going wrong?
