[INFO]Want to stop unknown crashes??

Hey guys

I am 100% sure that some of you experiencing crashes by unknown reason. Which my friends and even myself exprienced.

there is few reasons how your server crash and how can people Crash your server.

1. Blade of Life's Inevitability
- this item is 100% known to occasionaly to crash server.
- try socketing this item and you will see that it will rather dissapear from your bag or crash server in worst scenario.

2. /scripts joinbattlefield(0,1)
update to 4541 + and make sure to have battlemaster.cpp included in your gossipscripts compiles

4. WPE - this shit right here can cause more crashes then anything,.
- people that know how to use WPE can do the following:

go to a banker or Gbank. and withdraw item using a special WPE hex code which will instantly crash a server.

- WPE rank1 IMp firebolt
100% positive as WPE xex modification on the spell can cause a server crash by player moding the spell , loging of and loging back in right away causes server to crash.

- These 2 spells used to work fine before 2.4 , howerver it is very important you dont use them
= knockback50
= knockback500
these spells used to knock your target far in the air. Howerver this spell now trigers for the spell to affect every single person on yorur ealm , which stuns them and make them fly and move in the air .. lol it was a disaster when itried to knockback500 a hacker and 900ppl on my server started flying .lol


what to do.

if you runing a funserver - delete alll your bankers and gbanks

remove the item Blade of Life's Inevitability

add spell id for rank 1 imp firbolt to spell_disable.


[P.S] I would really appreciate if all of you server owners would share your findings on this thread, as the only way to stop all this nonsense is for all of us to work together, least we can do is to share our findings. thank you.

glad i can help , i know how frastruating it is to have your server crash by unknown reason. I wnt throu hell with this . untill i verified all my crush dump and all info available on site that distribute hacks and crashes to bring down other servers, which in my oppinion is total BS. People have nothing better to do then screw around with other ppl dedicated and hard work.

If there is anything more i find , i will 100% share with you guys......

theres alot more, much more difficult things to fix you can do with WPE or just plain in game exploits. thanks for lettin me know about that item though, didn't you could crash the server by socketing it.
