K so my idea is that well

Alot of servers say stuff like our DB is completely custom
but the you get on and its like retail so im wondering if i
make a project that completely customizes it and we
will even rewrite the storyline and make a custom
written lore for it all would it be cool??

what i'd do is start by deleting every item, npc quest and a few others??

You'll fail before you even begin

Remaking the wow lore isn't just writing a quest or two, there's way too much to change, and consistency is extremely important.

Also you'd probably get stuck with corny storylines.

Also, you can't change an item's display anymore. It gets fuxxed due to the new DBCs.

time isn't a factor, making the blizzlike DB's take time and i meant rewrite its whole story line and when the items displays get fixed someday it would work it will just take alot of work

Incorrect answer!

Items are now checked through a client side check, through the DBC "Items.dbc". There is no possible core modifications allowing anyone to bypass that check.
