    DBC Editing

Hello there, i have followed a guide on this site to editing ItemExtendedCost.dbc, i made 3 new rows useing the program "CSVed", and another file it came with "DBCUtil" to convert the file into a dbc, however the most confusing part about these dbcs, is saveing the files right. when i tried this several times i have noticed my ascent server crash when loading the new ItemExtendedCost.dbc file. is there anyone who can help by telling me how i save and or convert these files right, or is there an easy way, any programs anyone would recommend?
