Use the amazing button called "Search" It helps alot

Make sure that your firewall allows access to the ports required to access your server.

If you use a router, make sure that port forwarding is enabled.

Goto "http://whatismyip.com" and get you public ip address.

Tell your players to add your public ip address to their realmlist.

Also make sure that in "ascent-realms.conf", the address in the <Realm1> tag is your public ip address.

Start our by going to WhatsmyIP that gives you your external IP. For your internal start, run, and then type CMD in the run box. Type Ipconfig and then if your trying to get to your router look for the default gate way after ipconfig is typed. Then open i an internet browser and type the default gate way and use the user: admin and Password: Password. And then port forward if you use mcafe turn your firewall off if norton just config it. Also host.docs must be changed. if so open it and change it accordingly.
