Mafiaboy's repack error?

I have started the server and everything
it works to log on and make a char but when i log into the char i can see a bit of lan but i jusr keep getiing DCed
whats wrong?

the EXACT same thing is happening to me!
The ascent.exe says something about char_ban not being there or something along those lines..
Plz help us!

what patch are you using? and is the character database located in ascent.conf correct?

if the console says you are missing a table, just add it.... you can find them on ascent SVN (char and logonDB tables)
and worldDB tables on NCDB svn...

No its no table thats missing =/
it just stands
it stands the ip and the ms the player have
then
Player "player name" has logged in

try updating the core, if that failes then the database

Im 2.3.3. used the same guide as Jocce.
It works fine... until i log in my charater.
Then disconects.

I HAVE the ban_names file it says is missing:

" Sql query failed due to [Table 'ascent.banned_names' doesn't exist], Query: [SELECT COUNT <*> FROM banned_names WHERE name = "Sage"] "

Also how do you update the core?

Rename ban_names to ascent.banned_names

That doesn't work..
I get an error saying that can't be changed..

Maybe i should move " Band_names " to ascent instead of ascentlogon?
Or does is that just not the solution PLZ help!

Try Chrispee's repack. I think it's the newest. Or you could get NCDB if you want a blizzlike one
