How do you enable LUA in the core?

I read two of SectorSeven's posts that said I needed to have LUA enabled through a DLL. None of those guides say how to actually do this, and Ascent Emu isn't up at the moment. I tried a google search but with little luck.

Could someone please tell me how I would enable LUA in the core? Or at least point me in the right direction?

This is from SectorSeven's post. How do I do the "LUA enabled core (usually through DLL)" part? Or is that already done in the latest cores?


I have it enabled in the ascent-world config already, but he mentions AND meaning there is something else to do.

Your core is probaly lua enabled already (meaning it supports LUA, i guess?), so there's no 'and'.

I'm asking about the part with the DLL's notice I pointed out that SectorSeven says "AND" meaning there is another step besides the ascent-world.config, unless of course he isn't using proper grammar and it doesn't mean two different things.

All I want to know is according to SectorSeven's post to use his LUA files, all I have to do is change the ascent-world.config? If the DLL thing is the same thing as the ascent-world.config that wasn't made very clear.

it is not really the same... in the beginning of LUA on ascent you could enable it in core or let it deffault disabled... but in the latest revisions LUA should be enabled and only 1 thing to change in the world.config file to make it work...
