You just don't change the DB, just get the core and use it on your current DB

Okay, that kinda confused me, so... stupid question: what files do I use, and what do I do with them? :confused:

Don't do anything to your DB, leave it the way it is. Just download the core, and set it up.

replace your old ascent files with the new ones, you wont lose anything, you will need to edit the confs tho

Do I replace the DLL files too? Or just the conf, the PID and the exe files?

Okay, I did that, but now when I try to login, it either gets stuck on Handshaking or it just says "Unable to Connect". Also, when I start up the ascent-world thing, a message comes up saying "creature-spawns has an invalid column number, this table has not been loaded"

Well the creature thing is a ptr problem and you being stuck on handshaking make sure you got the correct download. Also you might be useing a none up to date DB get milestone its good for the ptr. And just take the creature table from it and then add it to your old DB.
