Hello i would be greatfull if someone helpd me with this . the problem is that i make a private server and get it online then i all works but when my friends trys to join well they can login in with the username and password i give them and they can make a character but when they enter the character and it loads full and then they get disconnected :SSS help please

Try getting a good, stable core.
Also make sure your DB is setup.
Take a look at the console to see what error pops up - an error should be there.

1. tell me an easier way on how to upgrade the ncdb or what the name was or give me an link on the latest ncdb and tell me what to do


2. didnt understand that thing with playercreateinfo or whatever it was

Get a new core. I suggest a recent one, you can try my funserver compile, I released it yesterday. A "core" is the basically the ascent folder, the configs scripts and .exes .

Next get a DB.
Download tortoise svn.
Download it here. tortoisesvn.tigris.org
Next create a folder any where and call it what ever you want. I suggest you call it
"NCDB" rightclick on it then click on the "Svn Checkout".
Enter http://mmoforge.org/svn/ncdb in "Url of Repository".
It should ask for a username which should be either "ascent" or "anonymous" I forgot
Let it download.
Open the "NCDB" folder you just downloaded NCDB into to.
There should be 3 items in the top folder. Development Documents and a .bat file called Ascent Tool.
Right click on it.
Open it with notebad or Click on "edit"
Edit it like in this pic.

Run it.
Execute. Walla new DB!

i tried it but it didnt work he still gets dc but can u tell me how to upgrade playercreateinfo maybe that will work or anything else with links

Just get a new DB, or take the playercreateinfo tables out of a different one and put them into your DB
