Help Please? How do I create .dll files?

Ok, so I got the source Spartan posted to create your own warper.. I got all my custom cords done.. Now I just need to know how to create the .dll file needed. If someone can please give me a walk though that be great I tried using Visual C++ but couldn't figure out how to build it into a .dll

That would be awesome, I'm sure there are many like me new to ascend and would find that way helpful... meanwhile though.. Can anyone still help me get this started as I really want to get a custom warper going for my upcoming fun server

Its really hard to explain, thats why its a movie, otherwise the guide would be too long.
Just wait for the video tomorrow or Monday, since I have to edit ext.
