Update Mangos

Ok hello i was wondering how to update mangos
ive downloaded a mangos rar thing and it has 2 files inside
realmd_bc.sql
and
mangos_bc.sql

how do i update them?
and the folder is called
MaNGOS v2.0.12 Server [SQL].rar
ive got wow 2.1.3 so which is newer?
i think i have mangos 0.8.01 btw how do i know if the update was succesful?

i use navicat but mainly heidisql i also have mysql
