How Do you Find Creature Ids? menu

    How Do you Find Creature Ids?

    I use WoW Model Viewer and My warcraft Studio to find the ids. I know how to find them for items, but for creatures do I use the (Creature_Displayinfo) or the (Creature_Modeldata) I found the creature in both of them but dont know whicch is the righ one for the display id. Thank You for Answering

    Hm, I haven't seen that one before. Nice site to use for that, but I will stick with the old ways of getting displayID's

    If you know the name, while ingame


    .lookupc (name)

    spawn, and check display ID.

    Most names work properly.

    he is probably looking for DisplayID's for items or npc's that he hasn't seen in-game or looking for the displayID's for the new 2.4

    Yeah, there are a lot of them too. Since I was a database developer I know what Displays are used and where. I can almost tell you where any display is used, but to find ones that haven't been used it really hard to do...I used this one tool for ever that found display ID's on NPCs and Items, but since then it has broken and there isn't anyone working on a new version of it...

    Download MyWarcraftStudio
    Then open C:/Data/enGB/patch-enGB.MPQ or if you are from U.S
    C:/Data/enUS/patch-enUS-MPQ , then open CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc

    there you can find every displayid in WoW
