[Question] Hosting a server non-hamachi with a modem?

I've most likely seen this in guides, that you just do what you're supposed to do, just not forwarding the ports if you have a modem. With a modem, I can't really forward any ports seeing as there's no menu for that in the modem. But, I wanted to see if it was possible to get my private server online on my laptop, and here's what I find quite difficult about it. The IP I get from both my laptop (The one I'm hosting the private server on atm) and the stationary is pretty much the same. I took some screenshots.

    Laptop:

    Stationary:

So I was wondering if anyone had any idea of how I then can put my server online?
PS: My modem is 4 ported, so that's how I run 2 computers at the same time.

Your modem is also a router then
Use portforward.com to find out how to use it

I see... I've forwarded the ports in the firewall and done that thing in the hosts file, now off to see if my modem really is what it looks like.

Forwarded the ports in both the modemrouterthingy and the firewall, disabled the firewall even, readt 3 guides on how it's done, changed all my configs to what it's supposed to be (I guess) and still "Unable to Connect". (Yes, I started the server, duh)

If anyone has time to help me a little more detailed or whatsoever, please PM me with your e-mail adress.
