[Question] How can I change to another repack without losing all my data?

Topic. Just found a repack much better than mine, and wanna switch over without all the changes I made being lost.

Abit tricky. You'll need to backup your DBs, LUAs, DLLs and everything custom made,
and hope the new repack doesn't use the ids you backed up.

Instead, just compile clean Ascent and add whatever you want to it. No repack has stuff you can't find/make

Depends what changes you have made and between wich repacks you are switching.
If you switch from Ascent to Ascent backup

-The Database
-dbc-files
-lua scripts

That should be enough.

A switch between for example Ascent and Mangos is propably alot more complicated.
