trying to read current unit power

Hey, I'm trying to read the current energy/mana of the local player via descriptor, but the returned value doesn't seem to be in real time, it updates every 2-3 seconds :confused:

Any ideas why this might be, or alternative methods to get a more accurate value? I notice Script_UnitPower on the dump thread but to be honest I'm not sure how I should be using that.

You'll need to reverse the lua API to get to the function which actually computes realtime health and power values from various object fields, thereby branching multiple times.
Not at all friendly to replicate let alone to keep updated.
