    Question about warden detection.

    Hi,
I am actually coding my own bot.
The only things that may be detected are:
    1.Write to CTM.
    2.Write on the MouseOver
3.Endscene hook to call FrameScript_ExecuteBuffer and getlocalisedtext

For 1 and 2 I may have understood that it is not detected because a lot of functions of wow can modify them.
But for 3 I really dont know.
Is one of these things detected, if not can you explain why?

Another question about warden scanned offsets: if my offset is not in the offsets scanned by warden(47 offsets atm) does it means i can write to this offset without any risk?

For example if i want to write to 0xC6BBF0 and if this offset is not in the warden scanned offsets list it means that its ok for me to write there right?

Sorry for the noobs questions but I think this thread might interest a lot of people.

    Thank you

EndScene hooks aren't detected because a lot of legitimate applications (Fraps being one of them) hook EndScene, so Warden can't ban you based on EndScene being hooked.

You can write to any offset that isn't currently scanned without any risk, unless Warden begins scanning that offset. That could happen at any time, but unless they have a reason to add it (i.e it's used in a public hack/bot), it won't be added. So, if you keep the bot private, there's no risk of it being scanned, unless a public hack/bot writes to the offset.

There is already a similiar thread discussing warden in deep. http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...r-hooking.html ([Question] Warden Scanner and hooking)

Read through the posts to get a beter understanding, but i can summarize it.
    1. Warden is not only scanning for offsets, also for DLLs.
    2. The warden client and the scan list is dynamically loaded, so new offsets can be added during the game play.
    3. If your offset is not listed, than you can write to it, and as long your method is private, the risk of detection is very low.

No function calls are detected. Warden can't currently detect function calls (it doesn't have code for it).

    Ok thank you very much.
All i have to do now is a way to get warden offsets dynamically and my bot will be ready.
