Please, before you flame me into oblivion: I've written quite a bit of C, C#, ASM, and Python. I've got limited experience reversing (mostly from wargames on smashthestack). I'm a network engineer by trade, so I've got a lot of experience dissecting protocols.
That being said, memory scraping/memory injection is completely new to me and I'm struggling to find a good place to start.
The books thread lists books on learning languages, but not for the techniques I'm interested in. My google-fu was unable to find any introductions or guides on basic memory scraping with world of warcraft. I'm not sure what tools or skills I'll need to master.
I'm sure I'm not asking these questions well, but if anyone can point me in a direction, I'll be off to learn and very appreciative.

After some more googling I found a few informative threads here on MMO, which linked back to gamedeception.net. Seems there is TONS of information there. I think I'm good.
