    Where to start off?

Any suggestions on what to start off with first, if I plan on eventually being able to create a speed-hack, or other memory edits for WoW? Thanks in advance.

Oh and just to be clear, I don't want to be directed to a site where I can buy a speedhack subscription and just be told to not waste my time, because thats not what I want to do. Please just give me steps I can use to learn ASM / C# or C++ and what to do, and i'll be fine. Thanks

I can tell you about a forum where you can learn all the stuff you're talking about, but it won't be cheap.

I hope you aren't serious... but if you are, first step, before anything else, before even replying to this thread, is to study a programming language. C++ or C# would be good choices, either one. There are an unimaginable number of books available on learning those 2 languages. You shouldn't need anyone from this forum to tell you that. Go get one and read it. That's step #1. There are many many more steps to go through before posting on this forum again. Such as learning assembly, learning reversing techniques (there are links to books in stickys on this forum, read the sticky), and lastly and most importantly you need to read this forums rules.

Edit: To give you an idea of how much you should not be posting on this forum, I have been programming for a long, long time. I know various languages, not just c# and c++, and even I waited about 3 months after coming to this forum before posting. Why? Because this forum is about reverse engineering, not programming in general. I had to learn about reverse engineering, and read a LOT of threads on this forum to get caught up before I was able to post and contribute. I learned a lot about reverse engineering just simply from reading threads on here, I suggest after you have learned something about programming that you do the same.

    Hope this helps. Have fun!

I got a book on it. Thanks. I was surprised they had them at Barnes and Nobles, I didn't know that it was such a common thing. This is all I wanted, not so hard, was it, SKU? Asswheels.
