    Little help needed in reading objects data

    Hi,

    for few days until now I was learning to read WoW memory using CE. I'm using 2.4.3 version on emu server (I think it doesn't matter, I'm doing it for educational purposes for now). The effects are quite good, for now I've got whole object list with static pointer located at (pointers found by CE):
    [Wow.exe+007A7384+80] -> +c -> +3d8 -> +1c -> +0

    Format of the list is (every 4 bytes): 1C [crap] [object base pointer] 1C [crap] [object base pointer] et cetera...

    I found few more addresses and pointers, but, in this topic, they don't matter at all.

    My question is: if I got pointer from OL, point it to objects name and value list, it works only for units. I found object (ex. mailbox) pointers and offsets here at MMOwned, but according to this post (the GameObject section), the only offset that "works somehow" when modified is 0x38 (faction). If I modify it, it starts to be inactive when tried to be clicked (I'm still talking about ingame Mailbox object). I assume that, if this offset works, my pointers are good and I'm in right memory section but... why the other offsets does not have right values or doesn't affect the game when modified? For example, my characters X_POS is 221,961883544922 (when almost standing at that object), but objects X_POS (0x24) is 2,52886157701723E-21 at the same time. Something isn't right here, but I can't figure it out.

    Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

    Edit: I decided to attach my CE file with all data I'm talking about. Couldn't upload it via forum, so uploaded to hotfile: http://hotfile.com/dl/79960032/f07c2...1_eng.zip.html

    Edit: It isn't actual anymore, I handled it. It seems that was just my stupidity and I mistyped offsets somewhere, it's easy to make mistake in CE anyway. Sorry for bothering you and thanks for your attention (over 200 views of this unnecessary topic).
