    info dump question

    I've noticed in the info dumps that there are two ways to represent the offsets. Apoc posts these in the following format:

    /* offsets:[d:0x001E]:[b:0x0078] */ unsigned long UNIT_FIELD_POWER7;
    /* offsets:[d:0x001F]:[b:0x007C] */ unsigned long UNIT_FIELD_MAXHEALTH;
    /* offsets:[d:0x0020]:[b:0x0080] */ unsigned long UNIT_FIELD_MAXPOWER1;

    I've always used the offset value listed after the b:. Was wondering how the d: value was used. Because I dont use the d: value my enums never match what is posted here. For example, I refer to max health by doing unitfieldsaddress + 0x7c. Hope this makes sense. BTW - I do all my programming in c#.

    Thanks!
    Dot

    That's actually wraithZX who posts the struct versions of the descriptors. I post them in enum form. (It's easier that way)

    D (hex) multiplied by 4 (decimal) == B (Hex)

    The 'd' is supposed to be the offset in DWORDs, the 'b' is the offset in bytes,

    It's for people who use GetKnownField to get their descriptors.
