    Emily, I have never really posted until now, and I would have pm'd but I cannot due to of the post quota, but I have to ask that you not get discouraged by "people" on these forums, your posts are very refreshing. (i know im late but its been bugging me)

    +rep on a good tut. My only quibble is that I prefer to use typed enumerators (eg IEnumerable<int>) rather than System.Object enumerators. If you know that you're always going to be returning an int (or whatever), I find it's a tad safer to not force the consumer of your code (even if it's... more of your own code ) cast to the destination. It's true that you need .Net 2.0 for this behavior, but honestly -- is anyone using .Net 1.1 or earlier any more??

    I understand that foreach does some "magic" to cast stuff for you anyway, but LINQ will complain a bit with untyped collections in some situations, and you can run into some performance concerns when boxing/unboxing needlessly.

    But really, that's just a quibble, all in all, good tut for those just starting out
