I have a question, did this hack actually work? Just wanted to know if anyone in the ME forums tried this.

I was too late when I found the video, so yeah. But honestly - did this actually work? I mean, it couldn't have been a scam. I really don't know, I haven't seen any threads about it .. so I was just wondering.

the code shown in the video is from the 3.2.0 build 10314 wow.exe . The call points to the standard free memory function.

Changing arguments for this call will do nothing beside maybe a client crash.

He also mentioned this: OpenDNS for cataclysm alpha sign up, starting to think he's just scamming for WoW accounts. site doesn't even work, also.

Hahahaha, he tells you to search for "POP ECX" and breakpoint that? WTF? Those instructions are found thousands of times within the WoW module.

At any rate, now I don't need to check his hack, it's obviously an account scammer.
