It doesn't.. Although we found a way to bypass those checks.
It still requires some work though. We'll have to mess around with the packet handler.

derp.
this will be sort of similar to the dynamic object system in evermorph, except ill probably end up using the green reticule to find objects within that vector. so drag, and inc/dec z axis. also spawn, but that is still a little buggy, lawl.
and thanks for the facets tip for collision detection jjaa.
Nice work. I know what you mean about buggy lol. When i stopped doing my model stuff a few months ago (RL stuff sucks! ), my main issues were the mouse spell selection thing colliding with objects changing the position and moving the object. Also i never got around to figuring out how to successfully move the objects across the map chunks. When you moved the object across to another chunk rendering and collision normally ****ed up. Good luck with your stuff, and feel free to ask me any questions!
luv u blizz0rd

This is a simple object spawner and mover I made based on WoW's "spell area selector". It is currently very basic and, as you can see, it doesn't spawn every creatures M2s correctly (its main purpose is to spawn gameobjects). The whole moving and spawning process is completely handled by WoW, I'm only filling 2-3 variables and calling a function to initiate it. I'm planning to use this in a tool I'm working on that will allow moving GameObjects and NPCs around in private servers. I will be probably be posting more videos about it soon.
Woops...
