    Offsets

    Aren't offsets just the memory of LUA functions or am I wrong, I understand there Static and not Dynamic. But really EAX isn't that assembly? And why would I wanna learn assembly to simply take apart a game when I could make the game? Really?
    I'd rather be making the world then learning a language to take apart the game.
    Then if you can find a way to access the offsets, which I still dont really get. You tell me thanks and goodbye

    ROFLMAO, I think we should get him a dictionary so he can look up the word offset =)

    @typedef
    LOL LOL LOL, omfg LOL, kk I'm going to help you, an offset could be described as the distance between two points, in memory management an offset is used to acess a part of the memory, it's always important to know what memory adress the offset is relative to so you can use it ^^
    The reason why you should learn asm is that it helps you to understand the hole concept of memory acess and you'll be able to understand disasmbled code, I'd recommand you to also read trought the msdn pages on memory management as you'll never ever deal with real memory adress but only with virtual microsoft ones :-)
    I hacked 127.0.0.1

    Your probably the guy from the Glider Forums who wanted to be a dev for glider, didn't know what an offset was, then asked in the off topic forums what a offset was, and when everyone laughed at you, you came here to ask.

    So.. when you realize you have failed yourself catastrophically, you attempt to reclaim some of your ego by raging the one person who tried to help you?

    Don't leave school. Something tells me you're going to need all the help you can get.
