Botting and 5.0/MOP

So I was talking with my buddy and he said that in the past blizzard has updated warden/sent out massive ban waves following the releases of previous expansions. My question is should I not use HonorBuddy after the release of 5.0 and/or the release of MoP for a while until either other people have been banned and there is a new version of HB or it doesn't seem like blizz updated anything.

I know bot at your own risk and all, just curious if the release of the new major patch and xpac has any affect on the likelihood of the banhammer.

And while I'm asking would the patch/xpac affect any other hack/bot programs?

I would steer clear of it honestly during the patch and then the following expansion and wait a week or so before attempting to bot... But only after the patch. Currently I see no issue and honestly... With 2 million subscribers leaving the game... I see them getting less harsh about losing more players due to botting...

Any bot you are using will require some sort of update to work after the patch. The expansion changes a few data structures and adds a few more constants (monk class, pandaren faction, etc.). Some folks have already been working to update their bots to handle these new offsets/pointers/structures and are ready for the patch launch, but they also keep implementing new patches on the Beta servers every 3-4 days making it a little annoying to stay up and running.

I would also anticipate a new Warden update during the next 3-4 weeks to coincide with the launch. So if you are using a bot that injects, you should be extra careful. (And by that I mean, do not use that bot at all for a bit.)

Nicely said Dragon.. We expect our PocketGnome and Shadowbot bots to be only down for a short time while we update the offsets that have changed. Shadowbot is 100% passive so I will be botting the minute the servers come back online

any1way of setting HB2 on Passive? becouse i read the New Blizz RUle of Agreement and you sign that they got FULL Permission to scan perma your RAM (Memory Writing) and so im quit unsure if i bot with HB more Archa since its 6solving per place
