How does blizz go about banning ?

So I have 2 accounts total on my Battle.net Account. My main account and a trial account. My question is, If I decide to start botting on the trial account and end up getting caught, Will Blizzard ban my entire battle.net account or just the trial account ?

    Thanks !

Normally they will only ban the trial if they even do bother to ban it.

    Thanks !
Ah One more question I forgot to ask. I remember someone telling me if I get caught for botting it's a temp 3 day ban at first and then if you get caught a second time they perma ban it. Is this true or is it a permaban for the first offense ?

It depends on the data that they have on you. If they only get in reports from players that you might be botting, then you will get an automated ban that is usually 72h. But if a GM checks up on you and looks in your statistics and has very good reason to believe that you are botting, then it will be a perm ban. Nowadays GMs are so busy that permbans don't usually happen anymore. But if you get a 72h ban and contest it, you will have a GM look in your file and will have a lot more information thus give you a permban.

Lets say I use hacks on my trial acc, with the same IP on which I logged my main account before...will the main acc be in danger? And another thing, 3 years ago I got 72h ban for hacking (accidentaly), what happens to my acc if it happens again? Doesn't the infraction expire or something?

They will not ban your Main account, just the trial, because Trial Accounts are free and see lots of abuse by other botters and gold sellers so Blizzard are very strict on them.

You are still a paying customer, though, so they will not want to lose you as such. Sending you a "Free" reminder they can catch you - yes, they will take this chance, so be ready to see your trial banned very soon.
