Need a working ISO for MacOS 9 (ish)... HELP!

Ok so here's the deal. I bought an older iMac desktop for $30 yesterday.. im not much of a mac guy but I think they were neat old machines and I have been wanting one (primarily to learn on) for some time.

System is in GREAT shape cosmetically.... Came with original red matching keyboard... no mouse but the USB one I have works on it.

Problem is that SOMEONE before me put Leapord (I think... 10. something at least) on it and it BARELY runs it... cant even open a window.

I wanna format the whopping 6GB hard drive and reinstall an older OS.... I was thinking OS9 but correct me if thats a bad choice.

I know OS9 is freeware now, but I dont rly wanna wait for a disk. does anyone know the location of a working ISO that I can mount to a disk (I HAVE to do this from a windows machine, I have no access to another MAC)? I dont have a RS or fileserve or anything... but feel free to link or PM anything u find.. im desperate here.

I dont know much about the specs yet aside from this...

RED iMac all in one desktop (the roundish type with the cd drive right under the screen (14"-15")...

im a really computer savvy guy on PCs so im NOT a moron.. just never touched a MAC (except for these EXACT ones in the computer lab freshmen year in High School... but I never did any tech stuff)




EDIT: GOT SOME SOLID (ish) SPECS FOR YOU GUYS TO BETTER ASSIST ME
Upon further research it appears to be a ruby red IMAC G3
6GB HD
450MHZ (Yes its true.. my phone has a faster CPU lol)
DVD ROM
and originally came with OS 9.0.4 (but now has leapord 10. something on it..... why I do NOT know.. wasnt my doing)
This unit was shipped with 6MB of RAM.. (but it very well may be upgraded given that he got such a new OS to work on it. Ill know for sure soon)

My first order of business (aside from finding an OS) is going to be locating a 30gb hard drive, as it appears they came with them up to that size... id also like to find some more RAM im sure.... but im still not sure how much this one has (he MAY have upgraded it tho to install leapord so I might score


UPDATE: It appears that it came with 6mb of RAM. but im SURE that had to have been upgraded by now given the OS he was able to (stupidly) install.

Seems to be downloading OK.... well see how the ISO works out. Its just kinda slow (only 1 host and im on wireless atm)
