First time ban from gather bot

How long would a ban be for a first time gather bot ban with something like sgather, searched for a while and can't find anything talking about ban lengths

I'm pretty sure it's permanent, perhaps 72 hours if you're lucky.
Not 100% sure though.

there have been quite a few 72 hour bans going out lately. it looks as if they have been waiting to start acting on reports
