With Test, it's currently not reading in patch-x.MPQ files. In order to make the MEF useful, you have to edit one of the existing MPQ's. (Don't forget to backup!)

Ok... I'm having a little problem here... haven't tried any model edits yet 'cause I'm kinda tired atm I'm writing this... When I press "find", the model edit fix throws me with an error similar to this: Error: Could not find WoW.exe. Would you like to launch it and autopatch? (must be run from WoW directory).
I'm using public European WoW client.

Okay. Can you please give me the following details:
    1. a) Operating System
    1. b) If Vista, is UAC on or off?
    1. c) If Vista, have you tested using the "Run as Administrator" command?
    2. Account Priveliges (ie Administrator, Guest, etc)
    3. Name of WoW executable (ie WoW.exe, WoWTest.exe)
    4. Current patch level (ie 2.3.3) and whether it is a live or ptr client
    5. Is the error thrown while WoW is running and the "Find" button is clicked

    Thanks.

Okay. Can you please give me the following details:
    1. a) Operating System - Vista
    1. b) If Vista, is UAC on or off? - off, I feel safe enough without it.
    1. c) If Vista, have you tested using the "Run as Administrator" command? - my head was made of fail while I was so tired, so nope, never tried.
    2. Account Priveliges (ie Administrator, Guest, etc) - Administrator
    3. Name of WoW executable (ie WoW.exe, WoWTest.exe) - Wow.exe
    4. Current patch level (ie 2.3.3) and whether it is a live or ptr client - 2.3.3 EU live
    5. Is the error thrown while WoW is running and the "Find" button is clicked - WoW is not running when this error occurs.

Erm, if WoW isn't running the fix obviously won't work.

    Let me clear something up:
The "FIND" button is used to patch an already-running copy of World of Warcraft.
The "LAUNCH" button is used to run a new copy and patch it at runtime.

Both work, but you need to use the right one. >_>

this is yet another very small ( 7 lines ftw? ) useful program that i made to skip the GUI and run wow as soon as you click the fix. all you need to do is have the original MEF, my exe, and wow.exe all in the same folder, best bet would be to create a shortcut of my exe to your desktop to run wow and your set. There are 2 different Exe's, they both do the exact same thing just 2 different icons ( shown below ), decide which you like more.
