    Octopus Vid+text guide with links etc..

    STEP 1 : Installing

    STEP 2 : Setting up the program

    • 1
      Open up the Octopus.exe
    • 2
      You will start on the tab Status, press the '...' key where it says Profile default.
    • 3
      Remove the default profile, and press new, lets just call it WoW.
    • 4
      Now press New at the instance place.
    • 5
      Have to look like this now:
      Name: wow1
      Game: localhost:wow
      Display: 1
      Maximizer: <empty>
      Topmost window
      Recieve broadcast keys
      Recieve broadcast clicks
      Recieve broadcast cursor (1 per client)

      Notice:
      add as many you want too, will depend on how many accounts you got.
      So lets just say you got two, just add another one with same settings, and the name, wow2.

    • 6
      Now the Status tab is done, go to Server tab.
      Keys;
      Remember this is a BLACKLIST, so just add keys you dont want to be able to press in all your running games.
      (If you want to use the /follow "tactic" ingame add q,w,e,a,s,d to the list)
      Clicks;
      This is the same as in Keys, just add left and right click, i'll do that.
      Etc;
      Just add things you dont want to press in all the games, guess you can manage this on your own.
    • 7
      Go to the client tab now, and go to Games.
      Press New, and just write wow in the tag, and then press the '...' button, now find your wow folder and dubble click the Wow.exe and click ok.
      Now it should look like this : C:\Programmer\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe or something in that way.
    • 8
      Now you're almost done. Go to the Status tab again..
      Press Start.
      Click on the button, Instances, and then on the Run all key..
      Now it will open the x numbers of wow's you added in the 1st step, in my case two..
    STEP 3 : Playing

    • 1
      When your games are opened up, write your login information's.
      Now you will be online.
      (In my case i just did this on a private server to show it)
    • 2
      Now you should me online on all your characters ingame (:
    • 3
      Now tab out to the Octopus program, and go to the tab Status.
      In the Brodcast bar, check Keys, and clicks.
    • 4
      Woila! ... You are now having your own, free dual-boxing program to use whenever you want to

      -
      Feel free to make the mouse and stuff work, and setup the window size etc.., this was just my twocents to introduce you to the basic's off Octopus

    Erm Raceboy.. your guide seriously lacked detail.. this guide is much better as it is easier to follow it is not a repost of your post but rather a better version of your post thats like saying people who improve upon scam techniques that were previously posted reposted them..

    And There is nothing wrong with copy/paste as he is sharing information but he should include the link to the location where he got the info stating where he got it which is the right thing to do.. :P

    well i was a little curious about if this is against blizzards rules, so i pm'ed a Gm and it's "Perfectly Legal"(his words), so it seems making two characters do the exact same thing at the exact same time like making two or more mages be able to wipe people out in seconds is ok... pretty crazy imo
