Glider 1.5.7 RC2

Well few people have been asking me to send them the latest beta's, since they can't download them as they're using scammed glider key's. So here it is:

We're starting up a new beta cycle to get a bunch of changes in and bugs fixed. As usual.

1.5.7 RC2

Ok, got some bugs whacked here, including the elusive sticky-driver-after-reboot mania, although I'm leaving the "wtf" in the error in case it happens again, just to terrorize Hamut. This also fixes some big socket deadlock mania.

My thanks to all who helped out reporting that sticky driver issue - I'm very glad we found this before production launch, since it was so sneaky. Your assistance is appreciated.

So without further ado, the list:

* Fixed startup to handle existing drivers left around by /driver. Big fix.
* Fixed startup to swallow unsupported OSes when using /nodriver. Good luck.
* Fixed deadlock in remote code cleanup, causing Glider to misbehave on /gliderexit or when closed with an existing connection.

1.5.7 RC1

1.5.6 is gone before it ever happened. We had to use up another version number with this because so much of the pieces changed. But it's ok, the golden memories of 1.5.6 will live on forever in our minds. Well, at least awhile.

Anyway, 1.5.7 beta is ready and it's a big change. I highly recommend reading the "who starts what" FAQ here: Glider Forums

Make sure you back up your Glider folder first... then download the file below into your Glider directory and run it! And cross your fingers. And save any unsaved changes you have to important documents in other applications.

The Bullets

* Huge startup changes: no more Launchpad, start/stop any time - see small FAQ in Beta board!
* Added Hamut's spiffy vendor tab to config for better vending control.
* Added new hidden config option: NoVersionPop to disable "there is a new version of Glider" popups.
* Added a few small overloads to Hover and Interact on GUnit to bypass Glider's automatic heading adjustment.
* Added an overload for GMerchant constrcutor so you can force the gossip index yourself in case Glider's guess is incorrect.
* Fixed annoying bug with Glider re-adding classes to config file when touched via remote.
* Fixed small bug with vending that closed backpack if your character only has the default backpack equipped.
* Moved SecCheck into Glider config, with option to disable periodic warning.
* Changed localization to fall through language-specific files on missing strings, allowing tiny non-English to be created with specific entries.

Things to do before downloading:
Stop all copies of the game.
Stop all copies of Glider.
If you're running multiple instances of Glider concurrently, reboot to clean out any old drivers.

And even if no1 asked for it, shouldn't I post something I can share and isn't already shared? It's about WoW, it's about hacking, and last time I checked the forum title it's something to be on this forum... Aniways I guess most of you are right, people should buy it. A mod can close this thread if needed.

I think they are just jealous because the bought their key instead of getting one for free. Whats the difference? They have a key. That's all that matters. How they got it isn't something you should even have an opinion on.

Gliding is cheating to begin with so it pretty much double morals to say "Hey you cheated your way to a key to this program that i use to cheat with. That's not fair.".

There is even a forum for scamming of accounts and items ingame. But oh no, someone scammed their way to a glider key. The world is falling apart.

This site is basically for everything that is considered cheating and breaking rules so if you don't like it maybe this isn't the right place to be.
