heya guys this'll be my first post so bear with me:
i have tried 3 versions of the Fishbot 1 from psychosis one from foobie and one from yorkfire all three didnt work i put my screen into 800x600 did every color i could and it wouldnt ever find the bobber does anybody know what the hell is going on here? i am so confused right now....
thanks in advance for any advice
i am haveing the same problem it wont even find the bobber and its makeing me a lil mad lol cuz it was working like 2 hours ago and now its not i would like some help 2
Wenever I try these things it can't find it for me either. But I'm very impatient, maybe it needs some tweaking. If someone who knows how to get these things working could write a guide or something it'd be really appreciated.
cant find the bobber on the screen
for the person that said it worked 2 hrs ago but now doesnt, weather effects can have a thing to say in this, meaning fx tanaris have duststorms and under those it is very hard for the bot to find the bopper.
for you other guys:
It seems like you guys are having trouble finding the bopper. what u need to do is find a place where the water is dark or sumfin.
like in hinterlands there is a cove near 80,31 that has really dark water. try that place.
ou still have trouble.
try going over these steps and make sure you've done this if y
Getting it running
1. Download AutoIt (This is a program for compiling and running the script)
2. Install AutoIt (duh) and compile the script to an EXE (You can run the script directly from AutoIt, but it's far easier to have it precompiled)
3. Start WoW, set it to windowed mode 800x600
4. Find a nice little fishing hole (I personally like Steamwheedle Port for the Stonescale eels - big big moneymaker)
5. Face away from the sun/moon and go into first person view. The horizon should be roughly two inches from the top of the window
6. Start the bot, probably best to select default options for the time being
7. The mouse will move around a rectangular area, during this time you should make sure the WoW window is in focus (If it is not, alt-tab rather than clicking)
8. Fishing should now commence!
Troubleshooting
If the bot cannot find the bobber -
Try turning the bobber search tolerance up / changing the color choice
If the bot cannot find the splash -
Try turning the splash tolerance up
If the bot clicks the bobber too early -
Try turning the splash tolerance down
If the bot finds something other than the bobber -
Try moving that thing out of view / turning the bobber search tolerance down / changing the color choice

Thanks for the help man
Ok, I have two questions, sort of. The program finds the bobber allright, but it won't click on the splash. I've tried a bunch of different splash tolerances. At 15 it still clicks as soon as the bobber appears. If I turn it down any lower, it never clicks. I've tried it a ton of times and I just can't get it right. I'm fishing in the pond in the middle of thunder bluff because I'm just starting my fishing career. So my first question is, what do I want the tolerance set at? Secondly, would going somewhere else fix this? My third question is: What does the step value do (for the splash)?
Also, I would have sent you a PM but the site won't let me.
