Pirox bot contains viruses

just removing the content of my main post for a few reasons i wont list. Pirox remains to be the only infections on my computer and I'm on my second set of scans with new software. Nonetheless, pirox is still the likely candidate.

edit:
additionally, I download next to nothing, i dont use addons, i dont download anything wow related and the only wow related websites i go to is warcraftmovies.com, even then, i only stream. Unless warcraftmovies.com has been known to sneak keyloggers into your computer through advertising (and no, i dont click on the ad's), I don't see another possibility.

Ontopic: This is true. Viruses are known to copy themselves as other files, ie, 'inject' or 'rename' themselves. Perhaps running Pirox triggered a rogue virus.
Either that or, yeah. Bots are known to have some odd-scripting, perhaps your scanner picked it up as one while it didn't pick up another virus that wasn't related to Pirox.

Might not have anything to do with it, but I remembered a few posts in the past that touched on this topic, he only went after people who used cracked copies of his program. If you paid for it you were safe.

That's why I won't use a bot that does anything like that, even if its only activated on cracked versions. It's wrong and there are better ways to prevent a user from using a cracked version.
