Is blizzard allowed to do that?, i mean that's a massive privacy issue.
never ask for rep!
People people people, until the day when Blizzard specifically says "the use of Mmowned is prohibited," they do not have grounds to ban you, so chill. Mmowned is not just about hacks and exploits, there are many helpful guides on here as well, so who's to say you weren't using that instead. Everyone take a deep breath and let it out slooowly.
Secondly:

It's part of the big long Terms of Service that no one actually reads, stating that "The use of third-party programs is strictly prohibited." Warden is their search and seizure program that you agree to the second you hit that Accept button.
Oh, and never ask for rep. That just doesn't sit well.

Your day will come.
Blizzard can ban you for whatever reason they want to -.-
if you run wow w/o warden it auto disconnect, on a further note i believe botting on linux is undetectable...
also in there it says that they reserve the right to monitor your system processes as well as other stuff (it has been a while but i did read the terms once) so its only a privacy issue if they were watching you while you werent running wow.Originally Posted by Ozrien

I got banned, i'm an InnerSpace user, nearly all of us did.
Guessing it reports IP when it sees folders websites etc etc this means that they cant ban you as you could play from a net cafe.
OR Maybe i am stupid anyways :S
P.S:As you sayed if they use it during time you dont play WoW they have breached privacy policy if you could get warden tricked and make it work while you dont play and you have strong proofs imagine the millions you could earn from sues and imagine the billions blizzard would pay to every1 that made a sue!!!
Can they detect model editing??
I used CE and Khack a while ago so now im paranoid as ever...

Terms of Service... I hve read that, and I realise that Blizz has my balls in his hands. We can't sue them, we actually agree with Blizzard... bastards :P but they make good games
First of all, anyone who has a vandetta for a company protecting itself and specifically 7.8 million other users from the other 200,000 hackers that dwell around at any given time is an idiot. Thats like saying that you don't want to set your house alarm every night because your stuff is never going to get jacked, it is.
1) Blizzard can ban you for anything they want. Your account BELONGS to them, its virtual, and in reality has no cost, they own it, you just pay to lease it. If your name is Fred, and blizzard HATES people named Fred, you can get banned.
2) Blizzard has Warden out there to protect itself, its the right thing to do, it stops hackers from damaging its software, and its consumers. Anyone who actually owns anything realizes that they have to take care of it.
3) Don't ever plan on not getting banned for anything ,even model editing (its pretty much undetectable unless seen by another player... like dark portaling).
When you sign the ToS, you sign all rights to your computer to Blizzard, until exiting the World of Warcraft.
