I've decided to extend and share the future versions of the Resource Radar i have posted the past days.

Check the this post from the Guides section for the proof of a previous post. There was no reason not to delete the one before this.

He's already posted similar stuff. Udan man you have a lot of potential I think if you can get this stuff down by yourself +rep (just in general havent even tried the radar yet lol)

It's not all his work, most of the source code is written by jbrauman.

- fixed mark position on the radar (previous the calculated point was the top left point of the mark, now it is the middle)
- fixed mark coloring (due to fatigue and case sensitivity all marks where green)

It is not detectable. It uses only memory reading.

Hello,

I've have not play wow since BC, and I noticing your radar map looks really promising.

Here are some suggestions if you like to improve your radar

1) sound addon for finding different resource, herb, mine, chest.

2) different icon/arrow for each in game object, seperate herbs from mine from chest from other in game objects like sign/fire and etc

3) name display, really help for grinding and seperate mobs from others.

4) different color mobs (red for aggro, yellow for neutral, gray for dead)

5) Display Players and names, as green for allies, and red for enemy, very helpful during pvp

6) blp/map display, it help to locate mobs on the map

7) Z-axis scanning, so that map don't pickup anything too high or too low, it goes from grand level to really high or really deep.

Those are just some thought to make your map better

Not really sure exactly what I'm doing wrong.

I put the dll in the WoW folder (should it go into a specific folder inside here?), started the program before WoW, and got nothing.

Then I tried starting WoW before the program. Still nothing.

Tried running both as administrator. WoW before program, then vice versa. No change.


Anyone actually figure out how to work this? I went to the OPs site and clicked the "How to use it" section and it directed me right back to the main page, so that was of no use.

The radar's 2 files exe and dll must be in the same folder, doesn't matter which one. It has nothing to do with wow folder.

If you start first WoW, login, and enter the game world and after that start the program there should be no problem. if should start right away.

If you start the program and see the text "Please enter the game world" and after that you start WoW then you should click "reload" button after entering the game world.
