HoWTO Openbot Questing! :)

Hello guys, this is my first thread i started
Hope i can help you out with this.

This Tutorial will explain how to QUESTING in Openbot 2.6 and which Settings you have to use.

WHY THIS ****ing Tutorial? Because i always done it wrong, and it doesnt quested in the right Path. It tooked 2 quests, then it done the 1 quest, and then it changed it place and didnt even gone to the quest giver to give the completed Quest back..
With this Tutorial you should be able to Quest like a NON Bot Would do.

BEFORE WE START:
If you want to speed this setting up, up. You can do this on an EmuServer like Mangos or Ascent. In Mangos you can use .modify speed 5 as example and speed yourself up. And if you want to kill the mob, just .kill

STEP: SETTING OPENBOT UP

At first, you have to setting Openbot up, use this two Pictures as Help:





STEP: DO THE QUEST!

Here Comes the part, which is Really Important, and i figured out myself.

At first, Create a NEW Charackter as Exampel



YOU HAVE TO DO THE QUEST!



STEP: FINNISH QUEST!

OK now You finnished the Quest, give the Finnished Quest back to the quest giver.

Here comes the Part which i couldnt figure out how to optimize it for every class!


This situation is not bad, that you have to cry. But what if there is are Cloth Boots for Caster and leather boots for Rogues. If you choose the Cloth and then create a rogue...it also choose the cloth not the leather.
And you cant add 2 Times the same quest, that you can add 1time the quest for Caster and 1Time for Rogues....

If someone figure out, you can post it here and i will add it to this tutorial^^

STEP: TAKE NEW QUESTS!

OK, NOW ITS REALLY IMPORTANT! DONT DO THAT WRONG OR YOUR BOT IS GONNE DOING SHIT, AND DONT TO THE QUESTS HOW HE SHOULD!

ALWAYS DO IT IN THIS ORDER!
-->TAKE ONE QUEST!
-->DO THE QUEST!
-->GIVE THE QUEST BACK
-->CHOOSE REWARD
-->TAKE ONE QUEST!
-->DO THE QUEST!
-->GIVE THE QUEST BACK
-->CHOOSE REWARD

and so on....

You DONT have to CRY because Openbot will take ALL QUESTS and TO THEM ALL at ONCE.

QUESTIONS:

Q: WHY DO I HAVE TO TAKE ONE QUEST?!
A: If you have 5quests and finnished all. Openbot now saved all Hotspots from the quests, in the FIRST quest you taked. So the first Quest has now the hottspots from Quest 2-5.

Q: WHAT THE ***CK IS THIS BLUE THING IN THE RIGHTDOWN-ECK!
A: Its called Xion and its a Music Player, i just have 100%LEGAL MUSIC!

Q: WHAT IS MANGOS/ASCENT
A: Mangos/Ascents are WoW Emulators. You can find guides how to set them up here:

I recommend Mangos, if you have non Expierence and Knowledge about emulators.

Why have you to post something like that?! You just say i get an mail, aha and can you say me why? I dont like persons like you who always want to get a thread down.

If you say because you see my name mmowned in Picture 3? Then i just can laugh, its on MY emu server.
If you say it because the bann wave? Everybody that use Openbot or any other bot should know that its always risky to get banned.

You are just someone who wants to spam and get other threads down, you dont even mentioned WHY i should get an mail....

Let it be known, that as far as I remember (while mildly helping Ritz code the quest support) the reward choice has nothing to do with which one you choose when completing. (This is done via the AutoEquip features in OB, but usually doesn't work with vendor rewards and such due to certain tooltip info limitations.)

I could be wrong however, I haven't looked at the quest support in OB for quite a while.

So if I talk to a quest giver that has multiple quests, just by accepting one of them, openbot will add profile for each? Even if some quests wouldnt be visible to me? (like chain quests)

And btw why I have to do the quests? Cant I just take it, map it, drop hotspots?

You have to do the quest, because Openbot will make a profile for it that you have to kill ("") for the dropp item "blabla". If you need for the quest 6 "blabla" you have to kill somany till you have looted 6 "blabla"´s.

If you want to speed it up, use my trick. Do it on an EmuServer
