What is Name Generator?

Well, is a program to Generate Names =). You can use this if you want to make a new char but don't know a good name for it. Just use this program and it creates a random name for it.

NO this is not just taking random characters and combining those
NO it's not one big databse of preset names
YES it's a program which creates names randomly by combining characters in a logical way so that the names will sound nice/cool, you name it.

How does it work?

It's pretty easy. First you unpack the file you download with a program like Winrar. Then go to the unpacked folder and simply run Name Generator.
You'll get a little screen with four options:

Length: How long do you want the name to be?
Number of Names: The number of names that will be generated and displayed in the List of Names.
Starting Character: The character you want all the names to start with. (Like A)
Don't Use: Characters which won't be used in the names. (default yq, so y and q won't be used, make sure to use no capital here)

I like the default settings, but tweak this settings till you like them the most!

Then simply click on "Make my names!" and then a list of names will be generated.

If you double click a name it will be copied to your clipboard, then you can simply past it with CTRL + V.

TIP: Making names up to 5, maybe 6, characters works the best.

Thanks for this, i was already frightened that people would see this as a virus cause of that stupid virus scanner. And i'm glad you like it =)

Hmm good idea, i should experiment with this a bit if it works out good. But it could turn out very well!
