Reduce WoW Lag via Registry Edits via a Program

Haven't tried it yet (don't really need it) but maybe it'll help those of you on older computers? All it does is edit some registry values.. pretty nifty. Read the comments on the site linked if you run into trouble.

Wow, I have a very good computer, and it reduced my latency from 140ms, to 80ms.

If this is like SpeederXP it is VERY bannable. This will most likely be seen by warden.

If not, it's nice, but i highly doubt it.

Faster Ping optimizes network registry settings in order to turn off ACK delays and small packet delays. Windows intentionally delays small packets and waits until more data can be sent, which is a good idea for non-realtime applications. But in Multiplayer and MMO games the focus is on sending all packets (like move_left, cast_spell, ...) immediately to the server, even if they are only 1 byte in size. Faster Ping turns off these network delays which improves latency and ping times significantly.

seems it just optimizes your computer to run the game faster. Sounds interesting actually

Works well. Just a bunch of registry tweaks to change network data transfer. (You can easily google ways to do it, this just does it for you)

Wouldn't recommend if you've highly changed your registry structure. (Not many have)

this is just a mask, it doesn't work. compare with quartz before and after and you will see.

i thought about to make a program like this but someone was faster.
there's a post how to reduce lag with a registry value's deletion and i think this prog does that.

i found with quartz it didn't make one iota of difference. it only displays faster. and i did it multiple times on different days.
