First off, I would like to say I do understand that this post could belong here or in the Guides section
Well this post will basically help you get set up far enough so that you are ready to go to this post http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...e-ppather.html.
If you don't know what Ppather is, I'm sorry but this isn't the place to find that out, as there are many other places you can get that question answered.
(All of the information I used for this can be easily located on the MMOGlider forums.)
1. Download PPather from: Glider Forums
2. Extract contents to Glider Root (Folder where you installed Glider)
3. Download the non-pathing version of Pontus's class (Does not have to be one of Pontus's that you will be using. Class downloads can be found Glider Forums)
4. Extract the files to your classes folder (Located in the Glider Root Folder.)
5. Compile and configure the non-pathing version of your class and set up your keys file as well. (Set the Class up to your liking as far as the settings go)
6. Download the pathing version of your class from Pontus's topic located Glider Forums
7. Extract the class files to your classes folder. (Again, located in your Glider Root Folder.)
8. Compile and select your pathing class. (Now you will do the same as you did for the NON pathing class as said in step 5.)
9. Make the folder "pathing2" in your Glider Root Folder. Create an empty file with no extension (A Blank Document) named the name of your character that you will be gliding on, inside the pathing2 folder.
The way to make a Blank Document the way you are supposed to is you open a new Notepad file manually by finding Notepad in your Start Menu. Then, you just make a Notepad with nothing at all written in it and click Save As. Then, where it says File Name, name it the name of your character you would like to glide (path) with. Ex: If my char is Jchunx, I would name the Notepad, "jchunx"... WITH THE QUOTATION MARKS AROUND IT!.
For Save As Type, you select ALL FILES... and then for Encoding, you make sure ANSI is selected.
Many people have had trouble with creating their Blank Documents, so what I just explained should cover any questions you may have but if you are still unsure on how exactly to do this, just ask.
10. Open the game (World of Warcraft....)
11. Edit tasks.psc with grinding task.
Any quest's task file or grind task files can be found on Task Parser. If you are interested in using that to get your Task Files, please view my post on Task Parser. http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...tml#post709175
12. Input vendor name
13. Input Hotspot locations (data gathered from the profile tab of the glider window)
14. Input faction ids of the mobs you want to kill.
15. Save tasks.psc
16. Get near your NPC and click glide.
17. Watch for problems
I hope you enjoyed this guide, and that you found it useful in some way.
If you were ever interested in using Ppather to Glide, well now here is the post you can view to get started.
Pleae post here if you ever have any questions or concerns, and if any thing here caused you to be unsure in any way.
Thank you!
