That's cause you tried to open it. Put the file in the world of warcraft folder.

Hey Kyonix,

Thanks for the amazing program, anyway just having some issues that i hopee you can help me with. Now i used to use these to edit my human skin to blood elf, but since 2.4.1 using your fix it just hasn't been working. I've been through everything that i could possibly think of to fix this, hell i even reinstalled wow thinking that somehow my files got bugged, but nothing, its not even picking up any of my usual edits. I just cant get any custom .mpq files to load. I've checked the names and all, and went through the steps multiple times, anyway you can help?

Its a trojan, it allows kynox and I to access your PC and run commands at will. Both model edit fixes contain the same trojan.

I've been using MEF's since it was required and I can't get this one to work. I'm pretty sure I've done everything correctly, file extensions are in caps (.MPQ), the custom .MPQ files are written into the wowme.cfg without the # symbol. I also tried Chazzwazza's fix without success, the time it worked for me it just ignored the edits. The problem I'm getting is that I don't even get access to WoW at all, it just crashes in the beginning. A friend of mine also has this problem and I think it's because we both use Vista, I've read that certain MEF's aren't compatible with Vista.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. And thanks a million for keeping the fix up Kynox, you're a legend!

Yo, not sure if its just me, but for some strange reason the fix isn't working. Whenever I press f8 its as if I didn't press it at all. I just get the error: "Unable to validate game version. This may be due to file corruption", etc etc. Not sure if its just me or not, haven't seen any posts of people with the same problem. If perhaps its not just me or you could offer some insight as to why it isn't working, or how to make it work again, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Anyway you can get this to work through another third party like Freecap?

I tried to open WoWMEwith freecap but it just comes up with an error, and won't open, but works fine by itself.

I really need help with this, I am NO n00b to model editing, but, it is just when i add in the lines to CFG file with the custom mpatchesi made , and start WoWMe.it loads for like2 secs and nothng comes up, it just stops loading for like a little FLICK second a tiny balck screen appears then goes away and then nothing, just my normal comp as if I did not double click on anything, my wow version is 2.4.1 but IDK what to do plz help lol. Thank you.

put it in your main wow directory (wow folder) and open up wowme.cfg with note/word pad nd under the comments put hte name of your MPQ's or delete the comments it works either way...and put in the name of your patch(i.e. patch-a.MPQ or patch-3.MPQ
