finally, the fix is where it belongs, public on mmowned. Its been posted up on other sites for a while now as a public tool, why shouldn't it have the same status here. I'd like to thank Kynox for keeping the fix up to date, keep it up kynox

Sounds great thanks for this! But one tiny problem =P
Whenever I try to start the WoWME.exe file it says:
    ''Unable to create WoW process''
Any way you can help me with this?

Hello all of you, im a completele newb to this (first time i try it), so i have a question that might be a little stupid.. Don't i need some .mpq file aswel? Patch-#.mpq or something? For the gm island thing, or does'nt that work anymore? And does this WoWME ONLY work with 2.4.1 or can i go back in time, eg. use it on a 2.3.3?

put it in your main wow directory (wow folder) and open up wowme.cfg with note/word pad nd under the comments put hte name of your MPQ's or delete the comments it works either way...and put in the name of your patch(i.e. patch-a.MPQ or patch-3.MPQ

Also, a thing to note is that it doesn't have to be patch-xxx.mpq. You can have any filename you like!
