Here it is: (Edit: It looks like ****, the forum undid all the formatting i did)

    Introduction
Warriors are the melee-centered class. These characters are tough as nails and masters of weaponry and tactics. The special abilities of the Warrior are naturally combat-oriented. The Warrior is the ultimate toe-to-toe fighter with the most options available to him. Unlike other Warriors you might have played in other games, the Warrior of World of Warcraft has many different options and abilities to use during combat. (That is Blizzards description) Really, Warriors are eather A) A PvP Build, or A Taking Build. Both are very fun to play, although the PvP is much more viable for all around game play. Many high end raiding guilds prefer having a main tank that has atleast 20 points into the protection tree.

    Important Stats
    Strength and Stamina

Strength: An increase of 1 strength point will add 2 to attack power. Every 14 attack power increases melee damage per second by 1. This yields a relationship of 1 str for a change of 1/7 melee dps. (1 str = 0.14 dps)

Stamina: An increase of 1 stamina point from equipment will raise hit points by 10.

    Group Roles

For group combat, there is 1 of 3 jobs you, as a warrior, could be doing, all of which are of great importance.

The first of the three is the 'Main Tank' (MT). This person has possibly the most important job out of everyone in a group. It is the main tanks job to ensure that all aggro is focused on him, so that the 'squishies' (Cloth Wearers) and the 'medium squishies' (Leather Wearers) are not taking the damage. Often the is a healer designated to the main tank to keep him alive. The majoirty of the time, if the main tank dies, the rest of the group/raid will usually follow.

The second of the three jobs is the 'Off Tank' (OT). This person is also one of the more important people in the party/raid. It is the job of the off tank to be there if the main tank dies, to keep aggro off of everyone else. The off tank also has to mave sure that if the main tank looses aggro on a monster (This occationally happens when fighting multiple mobs at a time) that he catchs the aggro before the monster reaches the squishies. The off tank also normally has a healer designated to him to keep him alive.

The final job is a Damage Warrior (DD), often called a "rogue in plate". The job of these people is to do as much damage as possible to the enemy without taking aggro off of the main tank. This can sometimes be quite a challenge, so you need to learn which attacks to use, and which to avoid, as they all do differnt amounts of damage, and cause differnt amounts of threat to the monsters.

    Stances

There are 3 stances currently used by the Warrior in World of Warcraft. Those stances include Battle Stance, which is the stance you will mostly be in, the 'normal' stance. Defensive Stance, used for tanking, as you take 10% less damage, but also do 10% less damage. And Berserker Stance, used for killing enemies quickly, and dealing out critical strikes.

    Battle Stance
Battle Stance is probably the most used stance in World of Warcraft. This is the first stance you get in the game, and this is the stance you will generally stay in, unless you are A) PvP'ing, or Tanking an instance. This is a normal stance, you do normal damage, and take normal damage. There is also set abilities which can only be used in this stance(as shown below). For this stance, 2 Handed Weponds are probably your best choise, because of the damage that you can pull off in this stance.

Attack - Attack pretty self explanatory. Basically the normal warrior attack without using a specific skill. Has the chance to do a critical hit sometimes but normally does whatever the regular weapon damage is.

Shoot - Shoot triggers the use of the gun. Guns aren't used a whole lot in Battle Stance other then occasional pull. Warriors don't really rely on range but it's nice to have some equipped just in case.

Charge - Charge an enemy, generate 10 rage, and stun it for 1 sec. Cannot be used in combat.

Hamstring - Maims the enemy, causing 5 damage and slowing the enemy's movement to 40% of normal speed for 15 sec.

Heroic Strike - A strong attack that increases melee damage and causes a high amount of threat.

Mocking Blow - A mocking attack that causes 22 damage, a moderate amount of threat and forces the target to focus attacks on you for 6 sec.

Overpower - Instantly overpower the enemy, causing weapon damage plus 15. Only useable after the target dodges. The Overpower cannot be blocked, dodged or parried.

Rend - Wounds the target causing them to bleed for 45 damage over 15 sec.

Thunderclap - Blasts nearby enemies with thunder slowing their attack speed by 10% for 10 sec and doing 10 damage to them. Will affect up to 4 targets.

Mortal Strike - A vicious strike that deals weapon damage plus 160 and wounds the target, reducing the effectiveness of any healing by 50% for 10 sec.

Sweeping Strikes - Your next 5 melee attacks strike an additional nearby opponent.

Retaliation - Instantly counterattack any enemy that strikes you in melee for 15 sec. Melee attacks made from behind cannot be counterattacked. A maximum of 30 attacks will cause retaliation.

    Defensive Stance
Defensive Stance is the tanking stance. This stances is almost never used solo, unless you are running away, in which case you turn it on, or the occational disarm in PvP. This stance is generally used in a group or raid setting, when you are tanking an instance. With this stance you take 10% less damage, but also deal out 10% less damage. When in this stance, a 1 Hand Wepond and a Sheild or 'Board and Sword' as it is commonly called, is probably your best bet.

Attack - Attack is not as important in this stance as it is in Battle Stance. Sure attacking helps, but it's not your main priority like it is when you are in Battle Stance.

Shoot - Shoot is extremely useful in Defensive Stance. It allows you to pull elite monsters in instances, helping reduce the amount of enemies you have to fight at one time. Shoot also gets the enemies on you first when you pull, which is perfect since you are the one who has to take all their attacks.

Bloodrage - Generates 10 Rage at the cost of Health, and then generates an additional 10 Rage over 10 sec. The warrior is considered in combat for the duration.

Disarm - Disarm the enemy's weapon for 10 sec.

Revenge - Instantly counterattack an enemy for 12 to 14 damage and a high amount of threat. Revenge must follow a block, dodge or parry.

Sheild Bash - Bashes the target with your shield for 6 damage. It also interrupts spellcasting and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 6 sec.

Sheild Block - Increases chance to block by 75% for 5 sec, but will only block 1 attack.

Sheild Wall - Reduces the damage taken from melee attacks, ranged attacks and spells by 75% for 10 sec.

Sunder Armour - Sunders the target's armor, reducing it by 90 per Sunder Armor and causes a high amount of threat. Can be applied up to 5 times. Lasts 30 sec.

Taunt - Taunts the target to attack you, causing a small amount of threat.

Last Stand - When activated, this ability temporarily grants you 30% of your maximum hit points for 20 seconds. After the effect expires, the hit points are lost.

Concussion Blow - Stuns the opponent for 5 sec.

Sheild Slam - Slam the target with your shield, causing 288 to 352 damage and has a 50% chance of dispelling 1 magic effect on the target. Also causes a high amount of threat.

    Berserker Stance
Berserker Stance is the 'kill things quick' stance. It gives you access to abilities which deal out higher damage, and to more targets, but also causes you to take 10% more damage then you usually would. This stance is good for when you are a damage dealer in an instance, or when in PvP.

Attack - Attack is important in this stance. 2 Handed Weapons are a good choice here since you are trying to kill things quickly.

Shoot - Shoot is not very important in this stance. Maybe the occasional pull but it is rarely used.

Recklessness - Immune to Fear effects, most attacks do critical hits, but all damage taken is increased by 20%.

Pummel - Pummel the target for 20 damage. It also interrupts spellcasting and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 4 sec.

Cleave - A sweeping attack that does your weapon damage plus 18 to the target and his nearest ally.

Slam - Slams the opponent, causing weapon damage plus 43.

Battle Shout - The warrior shouts, increasing the attack power of all party members within 20 yards by 15. Lasts 2 min.

Challenging Shout - Taunts all nearby enemies.

Demoralizing Shout - Reduces all nearby enemies' attack power by 35 for 30 sec.

Intimidating Shout - The warrior shouts, causing the targeted enemy to stay and fight. All other nearby enemies will flee in fear. Lasts 8 sec.

Intercept - Charge an enemy, causing 25 damage and stunning it for 3 sec.

Execute - Attempt to finish off a wounded foe, causing 125 damage and converting each extra point of rage into 3 additional damage. Only usable on enemies that have 20% or less health.

Bloodthirst - Instantly attack the target causing damage equal to 45% of your attack power. In addition, the next 5 successful melee attacks will restore 10 health. This effect lasts 8 sec.

Whirlwind - In a whirlwind of steel you attack up to 4 enemies within 8 yards, causing weapon damage to each enemy.

Peircing Howl - Causes all enemies near the warrior to be dazed for 6 sec.

Beserker Rage - The warrior enters a berserker rage, becoming immune to Fear and Incapacitate effects and generating extra rage when taking damage. Lasts 10 sec.

    Talents
Talents are a HUGE part of World of Warcraft. Each players is granted 1 point per level gained after level 10, a total of 51 by the time you reach 60. Each class has 3 differnt trees you may specilize (spec) in. Each tallent tree offers differnt things, viable in differnt situations. The 3 Warrior Tallents Trees are, Arms, Fury, and Protection. The majority of warriors in WoW are Arms/Fury Spec, because of the high damage output. When you see a Tree/Tree it means the talents are spread out between those two trees, often meaning 31 in one tree and 20 in another. You can mix between trees, but at end game, the only viable builds are primarily in one tree.

Feel free to make up your own spec's at blizzards talent calculator located at: http://worldofwarcraft.com/info/clas...s/talents.html

Here are a list of some common builds:

The 31/20 Arms/Fury Build, AKA The MS Build or Cookie Cutter Build. This is viewed by many as both the most viable build overal, and the most viable build in PvP.

    Arms Talents - 31 Points

    Deflection rank 5/5
    Improved Rend rank 3/3
    Improved Charge rank 2/2
    Tactical Mastery rank 5/5
    Improved Overpower rank 2/2
    Deep Wounds rank 3/3
    Impale rank 2/2
    Axe Specialization rank 5/5
    Sweeping Strikes rank 1/1
    Improved Hamstring rank 2/3
    Mortal Strike rank 1/1

    Arms Talents - 20 Points

    Cruelty rank 5/5
    Improved Demoralizing Shout rank 5/5
    Piercing Howl rank 1/1
    Improved Battle Shout rank 4/5
    Enrage rank 5/5

    Protection Talents - 0 Points

    (None)

Many points in this build are interchangable, each person has a slightly differnt build, tweeked just the way they like it. The important things in this build are(Arms Tree)Deflection, Imp. Rend, Tactical Mastery, Imp. Overpower, Deep Wounds, Impale, Any wepond spec, Sweeping Strike, and Mortal Strike. The rest are interchangable. The Furys talent points are NOT interchangable.

Another popular build is the 31/20, Arms/Protection Build. This is my (PvE) end game build.

    Arms Talents - 31 Points

    Deflection rank 5/5
    Improved Rend rank 3/3
    Improved Charge rank 2/2
    Tactical Mastery rank 5/5
    Improved Overpower rank 2/2
    Deep Wounds rank 3/3
    Impale rank 2/2
    Axe Specialization rank 5/5
    Sweeping Strikes rank 1/1
    Improved Hamstring rank 2/3
    Mortal Strike rank 1/1

    Arms Talents - 0 Points

    (None)

    Protection Talents - 20 Points

    Shield Specialization rank 5/5
    Anticipation rank 5/5
    Toughness rank 5/5
    Defiance rank 5/5

Just like the 31/20 Arms/Fury Build, the points in the Arms Tree are slightly interchangable (Refer back to that to seen nessary talents), and again, just like the arms/fury build, the 20 points are not interchangable. There is a variation of this build which is 31/5/5, inwhich you remove the 5 points from Anticipation, and put them into Cruelty in the Fury tree. This simply boosts your Crit percentage up.

    Arms Talents - 31 Points

    Deflection rank 5/5
    Improved Rend rank 3/3
    Improved Charge rank 2/2
    Tactical Mastery rank 5/5
    Improved Overpower rank 2/2
    Deep Wounds rank 3/3
    Impale rank 2/2
    Axe Specialization rank 5/5
    Sweeping Strikes rank 1/1
    Improved Hamstring rank 2/3
    Mortal Strike rank 1/1

    Arms Talents - 5 Points

    Cruetly rank 5/5

    Protection Talents - 15 Points

    Shield Specialization rank 5/5
    Toughness rank 5/5
    Defiance rank 5/5

    Professions
There are several differnt professions available in The World of Warcraft. They are as follows:

Primary Professions: Herbalism, Mining, Skinning, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Engeneering, Leatherworking, and Tailoring.

Secondary Professions: Cooking, Fishing and First Aid.

Each of your characters is allowed to be up to two (2) primary professions, and three (3) secondary professions (Which is all of them). For a warrior there are several good options. Blizzard (and myself) suggests the following.

Mining/Blacksmithing - Make all your own equipment.

    (OR)

Mining/Engeneering - Make hand items and trinkets for yourself.

    (OR)

Herbalism/Alchemy - Make healing potions and potion buffs.

(Two of the above and all of the following)

First Aid - You can't normally heal yourself so take this skill up to reduce downtime.
Cooking/Fishing - Catch and make food to reduce downtime after combat.

Your primary professions should be based on three things. 1) The need on the server. If there is alot of need for items of a cirtain profession on your server, then by all means take up that one, you are sure to make alot of money. 2) Your personal need. If you feel you can get alot out of this profession, you should do it. and 3) Your guilds need. If your guild needs a cirtain profession, you should be that profession. The farther your guild goes, the farther you go.

    Leveling/Grinding
Now, Iv heard leveling a warrior is both long, and short, fast and slow, boreing and fun. In my personal opinion, its a riot. I love playing my warriors and leveling them. With a warrior, grinding is a joke. I can solo mobs 4 levels higher then me with no problem, and I can solo tank up to 3 monsters my level and still live. My group play is also so much fun. I always have a healer looking out for me, and basicly I sit and kill, who could want more then that. For those of you who want to know where to level your warriors, heres a list of where I went.

For leveling charts please see http://wow.allakhazam.com/Level_Chart.html

I can't get onto that site, is all of it a direct Copy/Paste or something? (I don't care about that, but wat I would have a problem with is him claiming it as his own work)

    Thank you both of you.

I have never posted this guide on worldofwar.net ... Some one must have taken it from somewhere and posted it. The only places I have posted this is on 2 guild websites, and this one.

I realize the list of abilities are not currect, so I will be updating this shortly.
