Guide to installing a webserver

Required downloads in this guide:

• WAMP
• A Webpackage for Antrix. (Found below, choose one)

Now...on to the guide!

FIRST: Install WAMP.


















NEXT: Installing your website of choice.

• Extract the files from the .rar file to where you installed WAMP (Normally C:\wamp)
• Open up index.php (with notepad, wordpad, or some text editor) and edit the HOST, USER, PASSWORD, and DATABASE to match the ones for your server.
  
  • For an example, SPORA's index.php will have something that looks like this for you to edit:

  • $lang="en"; // Language ("en" - english, "ru" - russian)
    $host="127.0.0.1"; // HOST for Antrix database
    $user="root"; // USER for Antrix database
    $password="password"; // PASS for Antrix database
    $db="antrix"; // NAME of Antrix database
    $hostr="127.0.0.1"; // HOST for Login database
    $userr="root"; // USER for Login database
    $passwordr="password"; // PASS for Login database
    $dbr="antrix"; // NAME of Login database
    $database_encoding = 'CP1251'; // Set encoding
    $img_base = "img/"; // Image dir
    $server = "127.0.0.1"; // Antrix Server Address
    $port = "8129"; // Antrix Server Port
    $title="WoW Server"; // Insert the title of your server here
    $lock_acc=0; // Lock created account to IP address (1 - on, 0 - off)
    $lock_reg=0; // Registration only one (or more) account from one IP address
    // 0 - no limit, 1 - one acc,  2 - two acc, etc...

• Do the same with any other of the PHP Files that need to be edited (Check them all to make sure).
• Once you have done that, be sure WAMP is running in your Taskbar, and then go to http://YOUR.IP to see the page!

Nice guide, but how do i make WAMP run on another port ?
